PurposefulI plan units that are interdisciplinary as often as possible, planned using UbD with consideration for WCPS Essential Curriculum.
I use MAP data, students' digital portfolios, and formative assessment to drive instruction, informing both next steps and also how I organize students in the classroom for small group learning. My work with my third, fourth, and fifth grade teammates-- as well as with the science department in my role on the NGSS curriculum writing team-- has really helped me understand where my students are and where they need to go. |
